This holiday is great for anyone wanting peace and quiet and somewhere to relax, with a added bonus of superb accommodation and fishing. Mr S, Penzance, Cornwall 08 March 2011
I cannot recommend this park enough. Sheer peace and tranquillity broken only by the ducks tapping on the patio doors for their dinner. Absolute bliss and great value for money.....the ultimate gateway. Mr H 07 March 2011
Beautiful, peaceful site, tucked away but close enough to amenities to be convenient. Would highly recommend the site to anyone who wants peace and quiet whether they fish or not. Miss M, Wareham, Dorset 03 March 2011
This is a lovely peaceful site, the lodges are extremely comfortable, and it is easy to get to other places. I can highly recommend this site for a relaxing holiday. Mr L, Glossop, Derbyshire 02 March 2011
The beautiful, peaceful and comfortable Wooda Lakes made for the perfect escape and was an ideal base from which to explore the Devon countryside and coast. The accommodation was comfortable with modern fixtures and yet had all the charm you would wish for in such a setting. Practical too, it catered even for my baby with a good cot and highchair provided. The only thing I would change was how long we went for - 5 days just was not enough. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, we are sure to return very soon. Miss F, Wolverhampton, West Midlands 28 February 2011
Great fishing in a picturesque and peaceful location. Mr H, Harrow, Middlesex 26 February 2011
Extremely peaceful, fishing excellent, cabins very comfortable. The ducks came every morning to be fed, I would go back again. Mrs W, Warrington, Cheshire 21 February 2011

The setting was incredibly peaceful and it was a lovely area for children to play safely. Mrs R, Runcorn, Cheshire 01 September 2010

An excellent location as it is on the border of North Devon and North Cornwall so you get to visit both areas! There is a big Morrisons supermarket only 10 minutes away in Bude. If you're interested in visiting Cornwall, surfing, bodyboarding and fishing then Wooda Lakes is the idea place for you. Whether you have children, young or old it doesn't matter as the location and activities available are all suitable. We had our first family holiday at Wooda Lakes and there was a small concern that the actual park wouldn't be as good as the pictures on the internet, but we were pleasantly surprised when we turned up as the park and lodges were better than the images, which started the holiday positively. The owners also gave you plenty of privacy, but also made sure you knew just to ask if you needed anything, it was certainly minimal fuss which is how we like it. We hope to return again next year and will be recommending the park to friends and family. Mr D, DIDCOT, Oxfordshire 23 August 2009
We would certainly recommend the holiday to any of our family and friends who were in search of a totally quiet and relaxing holiday. The lodges and the surroundings were clean and peaceful, and added to that there was onsite fishing if you wished to take part. The lakes were kept tidy and clean and any would be fisherman would say they were in heaven. It was not too far away for the women of the family to go into Bude to spend a day on the beach should they wish.
